Reports of deputies attempting to pull over a cream and red colored ford ranger north bound on 101, just south of coos bay. The driver keeps driving, and begins a pursuit. He passes a vehicle on isthmus slough bridge, then turns onto east bay road, then runs a vehicle off of the road. Police set up stop sticks at Glasgow and flatten his tires. He keeps driving on bare rims onto 101 southbound and gets blocked in by police on the North Bend bridge. Police arrest him right away and identify him as the waste of oxygen sex offender James Meechant. Driving on a revoked drivers license. Deputies are getting a warrant to search the truck. Merchant have multiple charges against him for this and a community fed up with how he has no problem risking the lives of everyone around him. The people are done with his crap.
